Ready For Flight!

Today was a monumental day. I took the drone up for it's first test flight. Here is only a few seconds of video, but it was amazing seeing it fly and having such control at altitude and at a distance.
It is a DJI Mavic 2 Zoom. I decided on this particular model because DJi is a standard in drones. This particular one has all the bells and whistles that I need for the type of shots that I will be doing. With it's zoom capability it will allow it to get close enough to boats and divers without interfering with them. The other huge feature is it being able to track a subject as it moves.
I am learning how to control it's many features. A few more days proactive and it will be ready to do some amazing full video on. My next set of test flights will be in the parking lot at work. From there I will take it for a flight over one of the local lakes, This is going to be fun.
