It Certainly Has Been A While!

Life has been shall we say complicated in so many ways over the past year or two. So many things have happened. So much so I am not sure where to start. But here goes.

The Scuba industry took a nose dive. Big time! And with that sales plummeted tot he point that it was becoming impossible financially to continue the store with the way it was heading. We did find a very high visibility location we both really liked. High traffic counts, right next to a Dunkin Donuts so it has good immediate flow.

We were looking at August/September 2024 move in. Then the hurricane. That slowed things down with the new owner dragging his feet. Then September Was stating to . became October. At this point we could not continue in the Clermont location and more. So we made the decision to close the retail locaton for a few weeks or so while the new owner got his act together and got the signed lease back to us. Now it was November, and then the first of the year. As February was approaching and after a lot of thought, heartache and soul searching we have . decided it was time to give up on the new location and remain an online only store.

It was a very tough decision to make, but we did it, and decided it was the best course of action not only for the survival of the business but for our survival as well. What comes next you ask? That my friends will be the $60 question!
