Day 1 of Lockdown

The first day of the "Stay At Home" order has been not only a interesting day but a busy day my Blog Buddies.

So far today it has been a very productive day. How so you ask? The "Lockdown" is only in effect for Orange County at the moment.

Those of us that live in surrounding counties are free to move about at will with no restrictions.

The ridiculous part of the entire thing is it seems there are those who think the virus knows what a county line is. "Oh no it's not going spread into our county. So we don't need a Lockdown". Idiots!

After spending a morning building graphics for the work web site, we did venture out to switch our business account away from Regions. That will be a whole other post. It was something we had to do. Well more of a necessity in fact.

It was kind of eerie being out even in our county. Definitely far less traffic on the roads. We decided to come straight home.

Here's the dilemma we are facing. We are legally able to open the store. We fall into several categories that if challenged we could open. But Brad and I are not sure if we want to do that for many reasons. First for our own safety and health. Second "IF" we did open would it be limited hours, functions and most importantly staffing?

We did decide that "IF" we do open for any amount of time Zach would not be working. We have a responsibility to keep him safe. Last thing either of us want to do is ask him to work and possibly put himself in any type of harms way.

We decided to not make any snap decision about reopening just yet. We are are going to take the weekend off and just see how things go all the way round.
