Who Am I?
So you decided that you want to know more about me?
Hmmm, well to start off with, I am a native Aussie. Born and raised in land of Oz. So the sun, outdoors and beach was just part of my everyday live. Sadly as I started to get older, I also became more sedentary. And thus more of me to love. One day after walking up a hill and puffing and panting I decided it really is time to get off my tail and do something about it. Ad so this entire website. About me, who I was, who I am, and who I want to be!
Basically I am just your average regular guy. And yeah I may be a few quirks, I am not perfect, but I am a one of a kind. Rediscovering that outside my comfort zone and away from TiVo, there is a whole world of adventure, exploration, excitement, and just plain good old fun stuff to do.
Florida is home. Good old fashioned sunshine, warm weather and definitely no snow. Nasty stuff, it should be illegal. Not that I have consistently done a lot outdoors until recently. But just never liked the cold. It is part of my growing up in Australia with the warm hot weather in the summers.
Work keeps me busy most of the time. I travel a lot - to much at at times - for work. Being away from home for long periods of time can be a drag, but the upside is that I get to see some amaz-ball places that I would never had the chance to see otherwise.
Family and memories (aka pictures) are important to me. I guess because growing up there were not a lot of pictures of me, and the family together, that is why I find old pictures and restoring them of great importance. They are moments in time of my life. They are indeed a part of our memories.
The sunshine state is just that, laid back and no stress. The way life should be. I can not imagine for the life of me living somewhere like NYC. Way to many people. And way to cold at times.
I share my life with my family, Brad and Ella.

These two souls are my family. I love them dearly.
My darling little Ella is a rescue kitty. She was just sitting there watching everything that was going on, looking sweet as can be. As soon as I saw her, let alone hold her, I knew she was the one.
The other soul in my life in Brad. We are best friends. We share a lot of the same interests and likes, but yet are also as opposite as North and South. But yet, together with Ella we are a family. Maybe not what the right wing would call a family, but definitely a family!

Where Do I Go From Here?
That is the big question. Where do I go from here? Well I have decided for some reason, that now I am in my something or other’s age wise, I need to get back looking after me. Getting out and enjoying life. Will I ever be a buff 20 something with a size 30 waist again? No. But I have set realistic goals for myself. Goals that are good for me.

My plan is to once again to drop the excess weight that I have put back on and get to my target weight of somewhere around 175lbs.

Be tanned, leaner, a little more toned from biking, diving and swimming and not embarrassed to be shirtless walking or at the beach.
​
And along the way, to enjoy as much of life, explore new places, and experience new adventures as much as possible!
